My Education Journey

I'm Krishna Dulal, pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering at the University of Virginia (UVA). My educational journey began in Nepal, where I completed high school and spent a year inspiring young minds as a math teacher.


After moving to the United States, I built a solid foundation in technology and programming at Northern Virginia Community College. At UVA, I have honed my skills in software development, including creating applications using Django, Flask, and Java, and developing proficiency in SQL for database management. In Fall 2024, I will be advancing my studies with an online Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Professional Experience

Outside of academics, I've excelled in various roles. I served as a Lead Sales Associate at Virginia ABC where I demonstrated exceptional leadership and multitasking abilities. Additionally, I completed a web development internship at DIDI Professional LLC, working on projects that supported corporate strategies. During this internship, I enhanced my web development skills, including building a personal portfolio website like this one. Furthermore, as an Associate Administrator Intern at Blue Ridge ESOP Associates, I gained valuable experience in ESOP and 401(k) recordkeeping and administration, developed communication skills, and managed data using Microsoft Office Suite and other software systems.


As I continue my journey of learning and exploration, I eagerly anticipate the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead. Each experience shapes a future that combines my diverse interests and ambitions into a meaningful and impactful journey. I'm excited to see where this path leads me.

Associate Administrator Intern - Blue Ridge ESOP Associates (June 2024 - August 2024)

Highlights: During my internship at Blue Ridge ESOP Associates, I gained valuable experience in ESOP and 401(k) recordkeeping and administration:

  • Assisted in preparing reports, cover letters, and forms, including Form 5500.
  • Supported the team with ESOP and 401(k) recordkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Developed strong communication skills through regular interaction with team members and clients.
  • Managed and analyzed data using Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.
  • Learned and utilized new software systems such as Pension Pro and Blue Magic for efficient workflow management.

This internship provided hands-on experience in ESOP administration, allowing me to apply my analytical skills and expand my knowledge in retirement plan services.

Web Development Internship - DIDI Professional LLC (June 2023 - Sep 2023)

Highlights: During my twelve-week internship at DIDI Professional LLC, I achieved significant milestones in web development:

  • Created a fully functional blog app using Django, enabling users to create, edit, and comment on posts.
  • Developed a Java-based CRUD application, including the Game Library Project.
  • Designed a personal portfolio website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Completed AWS Cloud Practitioner essential training, gaining expertise in Cloud Computing With certification.

My internship provided hands-on experience, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects and expand my skills in web development and cloud technologies.
